Beverly Hills Cop 4: Axel F

One of our most anticipated Netflix Originals movies for the entirety of 2024 is the new Beverly Hills Cop movie. In development for years and in production for an extended period, the movie features faces both new and old to the franchise as we see Axel F dragged back into the saddle having to team up with a new partner to help find who threatened his daughter’s life.
Eddie Murphy is back and better than ever with the other cast for the movie including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Taylour Paige, Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser, Bronson Pinchot and Kevin Bacon.

Another documentary hitting Netflix in July 2024 is Skywalkers: A Love Story, which we’d strongly advise against watching if you suffer from extreme vertigo. The documentary, directed by Jeff Zimbalist alongside co-director Maria Bukhonina, is about a daredevil couple journey across the globe to climb the world’s last super skyscraper and perform a bold acrobatic stunt on the spire.
Find Me Falling

In what might be Netflix’s most anticipated live event to date, we’ll see YouTuber Jake Paul face Mike Tyson, who has an incredible record of 50-6 in the ring. The live event will be taking place in the evening on July 20th at the 80,000-seat capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Lucy Walker is behind this new documentary, and we wouldn’t be surprised if it gets tapped for awards season. First debuting at the Toronto Film Festival, the documentary is about the life of Lhakpa Sherpa. As a young girl, she was ultimately denied an education and began working in the mountains but had to conceal her gender. She eventually became the first Nepali woman to summit Everest before immigrating to the US as a single mother.
